On June 5th the IAK hosted an aerosolar sculpture workshop with Grundkurs students in the Aerography workshop and members of the Becoming Aerosolar graduate seminar taught by Tomás Saraceno, Jol Thomson and Sasha Engelmann. Over the course of an afternoon and night we constructed two sculptures from reused plastic bags and PVC. At sunrise we attempted to launch these sculptures from the top of a hill in Wolfenbuttel, but when it began to rain we decided to try again next week.
The next workshop will be on June 12th, with a launch the following morning! All interested participants are welcome to join.
