IAK

This website was in operation for two years while Tomás Saraceno was professor of ‘The Busch’.

With his multi-disciplinary background, and together with Sasha Engelmann, Natalija Miodragovic, Alan Prohm and Jol Thomson, they challenged traditional concepts of art pedagogy and practice, and focused on developing methods for young creative practitioners in the age of the Anthropocene.

The IAK is a space of collective experiment with the radical multi-disciplinarities of art and architecture. At the newly conceived IAK students are supported and challenged to develop strong bases for their creative practice, and to orient themselves as full(est) human beings towards the whole range of real possibilities open to them as architects, as artists, and as citizens of a complex networked world.
